About Tobias

Tobias Echeverria is an actor, singer, dancer, composer, arranger, and choreographer based in Los Angeles, California. He has studied music, theater, dance, and acting at schools on both the east and west coasts of the United States including Berkeley Repertory Theater, Tisch at NYU, A.C.T. in San Francisco, The Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA, the World Arts and Cultures Dance Department at UCLA, and the School of Theater Film, and Television at UCLA– from which he received his undergraduate degree degree in Theater with a concentration in Musical Theater. 


Tobias has performed in both mainstage and student productions at UCLA including shows like Sweet Charity (Oscar), HAIR (Woof), Rocky Horror (Brad Majors), and Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince/Stepsister), to name a few. Before college, Tobias spent about 5 years performing in music, plays, and musical theater shows in the bay area with bands, singing groups, high school theater productions, and Youth Musical Theater Company (YMTC) in Berkeley, California  In addition to his work in Theater, Tobias is a member of UCLA’s Rapid Fire improv team, with whom he’s been able to travel to New York and perform at live comedy theaters. 


In time not spent around the theater, Tobias is a musician (composer, songwriter, arranger and music director) who works quite a bit on both his own individual compositions and music direction on his a cappella group and his own original work.
