About Julia

Julia Prudencio (she/her) is a passionate, empathetic, and versatile performer. At UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television she performed in two main-stage productions: Lydia, a magical realist drama, and Into the Woods, as Jack’s mother. Other credits include Alice Sycamore in Idyllwild Arts Academy’s production of You Can’t Take it With You, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, and the titular role in Mary Poppins. Julia believes few art forms encapsulate the entire human experience; the delight of music, the grace of dance, the beauty of language, and the complexity of human emotion in musical theater culminate into a universal medium of entertainment, education, and most importantly, community that heals, unites, and inspires.
