Ian Gibson is an fun-loving and extremely dedicated singer, actor, dancer, and songwriter/music producer. In his time at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, he has been in multiple main-stage productions. His most notable credits include the UCLA premiere of Myth of the Mountain (Mateo), The Rover (ensemble/live band), Hair: The Musical (tribe), Into the Woods (Mysterious Man), and 36 Questions (Jace) where he also co-directed. He has been in three student films; The Last Five Years (Richard), Aspiring (Isaac), and Murder, I Hardly Know Her! (Geoff). As a Student, he has performed in Untitled Theater Company’s Original Works Cabaret, in the company of Bruinscare, a benefit cabaret for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and UCLA class of 2023’s Miscast Cabaret. Outside of theater, he is the Business Manager of Bruin Harmony A Capella, performed in UCLA’s Spring Sing with the band Lot 3, and danced with NSU Modern, even performing in the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show! Ian is one of the Music Directors of this showcase, and is excited for you to see what the UCLA Musical Theater Class of 2023 can do!
