About Franca

Franca Rosenblatt (she/her) is an endearing and driven actor, singer, and dancer from Maplewood, New Jersey. During her time at UCLA’s Ray Bolger Musical Theater Program, she performed in Sweet Charity (Carmen, u/s Charity), a new musical workshop of Myth of the Mountain (Lead), by Koenig and Cook, and Into the Woods (The Narrator). Franca directed and choreographed Rocky Horror Show, and choreographed portions of Sweet Charity (Rich Man’s Frug), and Bruinscare, a benefit for Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS, while a student at UCLA. She was also fortunate enough to help write and act in a film created from 2020-2021, originating the role of Jo in The Women’s Project (Marlee Tierney dir.) Other credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Spring Awakening (Ilse), and The Music Man (Zaneeta). Franca is committed to stirring the pot in every space she enters, hoping to spark new perspectives and possibilities, to do with queer studies and beyond.
